Stephen Fickas is a Full Professor in the
Computer Science Department at the University
of Oregon. He did his PhD work in the area
of AI&SE at Information Sciences Institute
and the University of California at Irvine.
His research interests lie in the areas of
Requirements Engineering, and in particular,
ephemeral requirements, requirements monitoring,
and debugging formal models. Professor Fickas
is part of a project looking at the requirements
issues raised by MSDS applications in the
domain of assistive technology (http://www.think-and-link.org).
He also currently heads the Wearable Computing
Lab at the UofO (http://www.cs.uoregon.edu/research/wearables/).
